My software version is the same...it obviously is a porting issue with my computer.  Every port, regardless of status, is not working.  Huh....

My question is, how do I move my videos from my phone to my pc?  When I try it says the files are blocked.  I have them on a sim card.  My card reader won't read the card, but I want to do this without taking the card out of the phone.

FOR EVERYONE WHO IS HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE CHOCOLATE TOUCH TO WORK WITH BITPIM, YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER!  and then follow all the other instructions.  i found that these sites were the easiest to understand:  for the driver download - http://www.lg-phones.org/lg-chocolate-touch-driver-download.html and this one is just instructions for bitpim - http://www.lg-phones.org/bitpim-software-for-lg-chocolate-touch.html

you mean your sd card?  i don't really know the error you're talking about but when i transfer anything from my phone to my pc i just use the usb and then open up the files on the phone then drag whatever file i want to transfer to my pc.  so save the videos to your phone and try that or just put the card in the adaptor and put it in the slot on the pc, same thing.  or you can send them from your phone to your email then save them that way.

My adapter for the card doesn't work in my pc.  My reader is an older one.  The error is when I open my files through BitPim if I select to save photos or videos it tells me it can't that the files are blocked by the phone or the phone service(verizon)

Well if you just want to transfer photos, videos, and sounds, then you can use the phone in USB Mass Storage mode.
1. Put the microSD card in the phone.
2. Plug the phone into the computer
3. On the phone, go to Main Menu>Tools>USB Mass Storage
4. Your computer will identify your phone as a flash drive, and you'll be able to view the files on the SD card.

This is all good stuff, but when I use BitPim and display the Files, I can find the correct files to "Replace", "Redirect" or what have you, I DO NOT have that option.  All I get is "Save..." or "Hex_Something".  No "Delete" or "Replace".  Any ideas?
This is for LG Chocolate Touch.

I am having the same troubles and I do have 1.0.7 installed.

Well I haven't had any problems like this. All I can suggest is that you try reinstalling Bitpim. Hope that helps. If not, let me know and I can try thinking of something else... sorry.  Undecided
