Camera Stuff

Hey All. First, I wanted to thank everyone for posting some great info on this phone. I've used a lot of the tips and suggestions to get the most out of my Chocolate Touch.

I've found that some things in the ENV Touch world translate to ours, but not all. One of the programs in that phone i'm trying to find on ours, is QCamcorder. Supposedly the ENV touch has this in it's service menu and in it you can tweak the camcorder settings to make it actually usable.

Now, I have no issues with the still camera (with the exception of having no flash) but the camcorder is damn near pointless in its current state. Has anyone been able to find this QCamcorder thing on the Chocolate touch, or just some way of tweaking the camera settings using bitpim or anything like that? Thanks in advance for any help.

I've looked through both of the Service Menus I know of. I haven't seen anything about QCamcorder. If you want to check yourself, here are the ways to access each.

Dial the following in the Dial Pad application.

Verizon Programming Menu
##PROGRAM8575 (##77647268575)
Service Code: all zeros

LG Service Menu
##LGSERVICEMENU (##5473784236368)

Be careful what you change on those menus! It's possible to deactivate your phone with some options (though it's clearly marked). Some will restart your phone, but it's ok. It won't hurt anything.
