I need help guys. I'm having trouble importing music into my phone. I plug in the phone to the pc via usb, and it recognizes it as plugged in but it doesn't show up in my computer as a storage device. I tried to import the songs through vcast media manager, but it doesn't recognize my phone when it's in sync music mode. When it's out of sync music mode the media manager senses it and identifies it, and I can look through all the pictures on it and whatnot, but when I switch it to music sync mode it isn't recognized by the program. It's a really weird problem, but I don't know what to do.

Yeah I'm not really impressed by the way the folders are setup on this stupid phone It's stupid you have to have a memory card to view folders.

you can get music on your phone without an SDcard the touch has 1GIG of space for you to use for music. Its not that hard first you need the drivers for your LG Chocolate Touch which you will need before you do anything. http://www.lgmobilephones.com/LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_WHQL_Ver_4.9.4_All.exe after you install that hook your phone up to the computer using the data cable let your phone install the drivers. After that go to "Media Center"/"Music and Tones" scroll to the bottom and touch "Sync Music" a box will pop up click on the Folder Icon- View Files using Win Explorer after you do that you will see a little drive icon saying Internal Memory double click that and you will see a Music folder drag your Music into that folder. You can create more folders if you need in that music folder in case you have music from the same artist. Hope that helps Enjoy

You don't need a micro SD card to sync music. There are many ways to sync music.

1. You connect the phone to the computer via USB and put music files in LG VX8575>Internal Memory>Music

2. Also with USB, you can go to Tools>USB Mass Storage and your computer will recognize the phone as a Flash Drive. You can then put music in the my_music folder.

3. You connect the phone to the computer via Bluetooth and browse files on the phone, then put files in the MyMusic folder.

4. Also with Bluetooth, you can put files in your Bluetooth Exchange Folder on your computer, then Browse for the file on the phone.

5. I have had success a few times by downloading them via the Web Browser

6. And if your music file is less than 500 KB, then you can email it to your phone at number@vzwpix.com

I hope one of these helps!

yea you just connect your phone to the pc via usb or sd card.  a thing should pop up automatically asking you if you want to import pics or view the phones files.  if it doesn't, just go to my computer, click on the phone, open my pictures, and drag and drop them into the phones picture folder.
