heyyy, i got my phone to detect it.  i have no idea how, i just played around with it, trial and error and unplugged, plugged the phone, closed and opened bitpim.  i'm not sure if that's what did it, or if it was the fact that i downloaded the driver for our phone.  no one was answering on here so i spent a while searching the internet and saw something about downloading a driver?  well i did, and i really don't see how that did anything but after i did that it worked.  maybe a coincidence.  i downloaded it from here:  http://www.lg-phones.org/lg-chocolate-touch-driver-download.html i think i did the 2nd one.  hope this helps, if not, let me know and i'll try to see if i can figure out how i got it to work.

oh, and my bad, no, it won't mess up your phone as long as you don't touch anything other than what's listed in the directions for downloading themes.  just make absolute sure before you overwrite the old themes with the new ones that you back up the old one somewhere on your computer.  if you get bitpim to work and need more help with getting the themes on your phone let me know, we can IM/text or something and i can walk you through it step by step.

lol that's good Smiley what themes are you looking to download?  the ones that people posted on here?  and also if you wanna change the wallpaper to the cool flash wallpapers that people posted on here that's easy and the same concept.  you can find directions on how to do it on here, and in some of the downloads there's a 'readme' file where the person put directions.  try that for now, and if you need help i'll be on aim later around 5 or 6 (thexmiserable1) i messaged you my cell if you have any problems b/c i feel bad for making you wait around on me lol.

This is all good stuff, but when I use BitPim and display the Files, I can find the correct files to "Replace", "Overwrite" or what have you, I DO NOT have that option.  All I get is "Save..." or "Hex_Something".  No "Delete" or "Replace/Overwrite" Any ideas?

Do you have the latest version of Bitpim? It should be 1.0.7 I think.
Try watching this set up video to see if you did everything right.
