Got mine about three weeks ago as an upgrade from the Dare.  Overall, I really like it.  I have noticed a few oddities such as a lag when first starting to text between my typing and the letters showing up.  Also, it doesn't seem to be learning words as I type.  Other than those, it is a great phone.

Also, the flash clocks on the Dare forums can be loaded in the same fashion on the Chocolate Touch through BitPim

Hi my name is Denny i just got the Chocolate Touch after a nice 6 months with a Blackberry Curve 8330  but the daughter wanted a smart phone and that lead us to going from Alltel to Verizon! That meant the Curve was NO longer usable on Verizon so long story short we now ALL have new phones! So far I really don't miss the Blackberry all that much the touch is great love it so far however can anyone tell me how to enable the status light on this phone? Its a small light in the right hand corner I cannot for the life of me get it to work??

I believe that is the proximity sensor that shuts the screen off when held up to your head while on a call. There is no status light.

Right again Slim, when there is an object close to the prox and light detector, it shuts off thinking it's either, covered in a case, or  in a pocket.
