New Chocolate Touch User Looking for Mac OS X Tips

Dear All-

I'm a long time Mac user who is also a long time Verizon user. Why has no company created Mac syncs for the Chocolate Touch?

I'd get a iPhone, but I can't stand ATT. It's network here in South Dakota is very poor and overall its national coverage is not as robust.

I'm frustrated that these companies build silos to force you to use their second-rate technology. It's very difficult for a consumer to create their own best of breed solution, i.e., an LG Chocolate Touch, riding on the Verizon network, that will sync with Mac OS X. Seems pretty stupid to me...

Any clever ideas out there?

btw, this Chocolate Touch site is very nicely put together...
