Hey CodyMWS... i was thinking about switching to the Kin TWOm from the CT. since you have it i wanted to kno if you thought it was a good or bad phone. i would like to drop the $10 a month for the data and primarially use the wi-fi since i have wi-fi and i dont always like using my comp for small things like facebook. i hope you will give me some feedback on which phone you think is better, faster, and easier to use.
thanks for your help,
Klinemonster
Oh the Kin TWOm is WAY better than the CT. Since the Kin was originally meant to be a smartphone, it has a lot of smartphone-like features. It has an 8 MP camera with 720p video recording, WiFi, Zune music player, FM radio, capacitive touch screen (which is the same kind the iPhone has), and an excellent keyboard.
The WiFi is pretty good. Not the best range I've ever seen, but it's decent. And you definitely could replace the data plan with WiFi. But if you did this, I'd suggest getting a data block on your account (and be sure to exclude MMS) just in case it disconnects from WiFi. Because if it disconnects, it doesn't warn you, then it'll start using data through Verizon's network. And you'd get charged for it.
So as long as you block data, WiFi could be a great replacement. But then you'd only be able to use interent where there's WiFi. It depends on what you want.
The camera is great, touchscreen is as good as an iPhone or Droid, and the Zune player is really good.
The Kin TWOm is the best feature phone on Verizon's network.
