Ok not sure if this has been posted b4,and im to lazy to check

basically hold the music and the power button at the same time while your phone is off and it will boot into a hidden screen/menu

it brings you to a downloading menu that says "do not disconnet" even if your phone isnt connected
also the only way to get out of the menu is to take your battery out

i havnt found any uses for this menu.

That's interesting. I didn't know about that. I bet it's for filesystem access when the phone is bricked or something. Mine just says "Downloading... Do not unplug!!"

I bet you could connect to Bitpim with this, without your phone needing to be on. Like if it's bricked. If not Bitpim, maybe QPST or LGPST.

That's a cool find! I'm gonna mess around with this a bit, to see if I can get some use out of it... thanks! Smiley

This download mode that you guys are referring to, is for access of a program called LGNPST,
which is basically LG Phone Service Tool or Product Service Tool. Its used by manufacturers and those people who refurbish phones if it IS bricked and wont boot properly.
