I'm new to Flash and how to work with it. I want to start learning how to do things with Adobe Flash CS4. So to start, I was wondering how you would resize a theme for the enV Touch to 240x400 to fit the screen of the Chocolate Touch. I know afterwards you still wouldn't be able to click things, but I just wanted to start with this. And if you have any tips or guides you'd like to share with a beginner, that would be great. Thank you!

I have no idea how to resize the enV Touch theme for C Touch. I did replace the UI on my CT with the default from an enV Touch and, while it scrolled horizontally, I could not do anything else with it. I meant to learn how to get it working, but I recently bought an iPod Touch 64gb, jailbroke it and now I'm all about seeing how much I can customize it. Currently, I have it running a theme that makes it look and sound like HTC Sense (Android OS). Looks cool.
Also, with VZ's new Data Dictatorship, I have lost a lot of my enthusiasm for doing anything with this phone. It makes no sense that on one day the phone did not require data and the next "It was intended for advanced data usage and if you don't need/want data, this is not a suitable phone for you." (Direct quote from VZ Customer Service when I emailed to ask why the $9.99 data requirement)

I also have a jailbroken iPod Touch. I'm great at making themes for that. It's pretty easy.

And as for the C Touch, when I bought the phone it didn't require a data plan. When did you get yours? But later I decided a little data would be nice so I got the 25 MB plan.

I got mine before the data plan was required also. If I decide that I want data, I will go whole hog and get a smartphone.

How much can you do with the 25mb plan? I feel like that would be just enough to get most people in trouble with data overages.

LG's programmers didn't make them with the expectation of being edited so it's a pain to work with.

I downloaded and decompiled an iPhone theme for the enV after reading your question and I was greeted with a number of run time errors and graphical glitches when running.  Also, from what I saw, the enV themes rely much more heavily on a large portion of ActionScript.  The stock CT themes are much easier to edit, although as such, less fancy.

However, with access to the ActionScript and plenty of time, once could make something just as nice.  It's just a matter of flash experience.

I could definately use more than 25MB. I need to check my usage alot. But it's good for checking email and Facebook.

And as for the themes, I am really new to Flash and such. But I know how to use Bitpim, and graham's themes are really nice. Thanks for making those. I've been waiting to get a replacement for those horrible stock themes.
