I have installed the correct drivers. I know how to use a computer correctly, and I've had many phones in the past and they have all worked, but this LG Chocolate Touch problem is driving me insane.

I have Windows 7 64-Bit Home Premium. When I plug in my Chocolate Touch, it says "USB Device Not Recognized. One of the USB devices attacked to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it."

I have tried SEVERAL drivers within device manager (the generic LG CDMA Modem driver, etc.) and nothing will work. When I put the phone in USB Mass Storage mode, the phone says it is connected to my computer, but I do not see the removable disk when I go to My Computer.

Absolutely nothing is working for me, and I don't know what the problem is. This phone simply refuses to cooperate.

Another thing: I hate how the Chocolate Touch doesn't automatically add words to its dictionary like the Dare does.

The way things are moving, I want my old Dare back.

That's really weird. Your computer should just recognize it as a flash drive. I can't think of anything that would be causing a problem right now... have you had this problem with anything else? Can you go into the device manager and find the device with the error?

Sorry I didn't help much....
