I have downloaded all the drivers to my computer and I even installed Vcast media manager and I am able to get all my music from itunes into Vcast and onto my chocolate phone. However I found this website where you can downloaded flash wallpapers and different time clocks to your phone. They said to use the latest version of bitpim.

So I downloaded the latest bitpim software to my computer however my phone is not on the list of phones to connect to. So I selected "other CDMA phone" from their phones list and clicked ok but nothing happened. The software is not recognizing my phone or anything. I have no idea why. Yet when I unplug and plug my phone in again it loads all my music into Vcast with no problems. So I know the drivers are there and the phone works fine because otherwise Vcast would not see my phone.

What can I do? I have tried bitpim and it really is not recognizing my phone. Has anyone used this software before?

you need to go into bitpim phone settings and choose "chocolate 3".  also you need to make sure that your phone is in modem mode when it connects, (do this in the settings) then all u should have to do is drop down the filesystem and it should say wait and take a while to do stuff and all your shit should pop up there. watch this video i made as i guide

Here's a guide to setting up Bitpim. If this doesn't work, let me know exactly what's happening and I might be able to help.  Smiley

What operating system and version of Bitpim are you running? I had a similar problem on Bitpim 1.0.6 for Linux. The latest version is 1.0.7, and that one works.

And do you have the right phone and COM port selected?
