I know how to download ringtones through my computer, and then one day i went to plug it in and the "my ringtones" folder is gone completely.  how can i get it back, or where the heck did it go?
I have no way to put ringtones in my phone anymore.  I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but when i plug the phone in, the music sync thing doesnt pop up anymore either.
anyone know about this or how to fix it?

Are the ringtones you've put on there still there? I don't know why the folder would be missing, but I do know some other ways to get the ringtones on to your phone. The best way is to just send it to your phone through an email. Attach the ringtone to an email and send it to your number @vzwpix.com. You will then receive it on your phone as a picture message. Open it, then click the options button, and select Save as Ringtone. The ringtone has to be 500 KB or less to do it this way.

Could the folder be hidden? In Windows Explorer, select Organize then Folder and Search Options. Then select the View tab and choose Show Hidden Files.

If those don't work, let me know....

ok that looking for hidden folders thing didnt work.  If it helps at all, the my ringtones folder used to look like a folder now it just looks like a piece of paper.

Well I really don't know what could've happened. All I can recommend trying is making a my_ringtones folder in SD card root. Sorry!
